IRLAM LIVE is an annual boutique music festival that takes place in a 5k capacity outdoor arena within Prince’s Park, nine miles west of Manchester city centre. Great atmosphere, great music, great food and drink and of course great people. If you’ve forget how good Irlam Live 2016 was, here’ a reminder.

Here’s the crowd getting ready for Billy Ocean. Irlam Live 2016 was a huge success in so many areas with over 8,000 people through the gates. Billy Ocean, Tony Hadley, Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers, Aswad, Real Thing, T’Pau, Blow Monkeys, Kenny Thomas and Doctor and the Medics were all in fine form. This was the first time the Amphitheatre at Prince’s Park had been used for its intended purpose. The stage looked magnificent, the sound system was awesome, everyone had a great view of what was going on with room to move around the site.

GOLD! A great picture of Tony Hadley rocking the Irlam Live stage with a greatest hits set. True, Only When You Leave, Lifeline, Gold, To Cut A Long Story Short, as well as a few crowd-pleasing covers like Dakota and Mr Brightside. AWESOME!!
